Hello from South Korea!
do you see any of these old movies from England and US? Even The Sound of Music has a strong woman's star - Julie Andrews - who also starred in the Australian written film Mary Poppins.
Ann Bancroft - Mrs Mel Brookes - was also a good actress - Slender Thread; Prisoner of 2nd Avenue; 84 Charring-Cross Road. Sometimes even Bette Midler produces some good language - Beaches,
there's no funny women in that show - watch Breakfast at Tiffeneys or The Owl and the Pussycat; anything with Jane Fonda or Barbara Streisand or Barbara Stanwych, Marlena Deitrich, Marilyn Monroe, Rosiland Russel in it
so, what do you think - seen any of those movies?
Just watch those 'yank' movies for English, mate. 1940's movies, are recommended, but they are mostly, chauvinist, male oriented language. Modern USA movies are definitely not recommended.
