ha yea, "smaller city" of three million, it's hard to get my head around the scale of the place. Our head of architecture told us a story about how he was asked to design a large section of a new city over in China for tens of thousands of residences, he had to turn it down partially due to the enormity of the project.. we simple don't work on that scale over here...

Do you see many other foreigners in your region of China? How long have you been there for? Yea, i heard it can be really cold in winter, and really hot in summer.. pretty extreme climates..

I know the feeling. I have some movies that were raved about and keep promising myself to watch.......I guess they'll keep...for the 'one day' I saved them for. Everything happens for a reason though we may not know it yet, and there's a season for everything, right?
Yep. I live in the Northern Part, that really gets cold in winter. It ain't too bad cos I have gotten used to it. I'm a spoken English teacher in high school. Sometimes its great, sometimes it ain't. C'est la vie.

My eldest nephew - who's 14 and very inquisitive, asked me why a sexy male is fully clothed and a sexy female usually is scantily dressed. I told him I honestly knew not. I was pleasantly suprised therefore when scrolling through the ' Women In Film's 2013 Crystal + Lucy Awards' photos.... most of the women were 'sexy in the male way' :-) -I'll save these photos for my nephew and let him know that sometimes, the norm doesn't have to be the norm.
Yes, unfortunately there are a lot of ignorant people out there. I also tell them to google Africa and educate themselves on what is going on outside of their own country.
