Well, I think it's sad. I know the history behind Tibet. It's just that whatever the country may be, the United States included, that torture is beyond what being human is about. I know that people are unaware also of Tibet's history and how it tortured and mutilated it's own people. I think we live in a very sad world and that the quality of human life has lost it's spiritual purpose. I love the Chinese as I do love Koreans, Thai's, etc....I love people and it would be nice if we could all get together. But, we also know that this will never happen. The world is full of greed, power, arrogance, and it just seems that this is the WAY of human nature. I wish we could all get along, mind our own business, not try to democratize or socialize or try to conquer. As a civilized world, we all should do a better job in handling human relations. I do think Tibet is a lot better off that it was but, I'm still against the way people are tortured in any country by any government. Are we suppose to be human or are we just a step above the animal kingdom? I hope we leave the world better for our children and our future grandchildren. Ichinen : )
