I have started the maths courses of my carreer on last monday and from monday to friday I'm in Kassel.
The city is not bad...It's a city with a lot of galleries, museums and stuff like that because every 5 years there is the DOCUMENTA...some kind of arts exhibition.
It's more interesting than my hometown...But I miss being able to see my friends and my family whenever I want :D
Furthermore, the maths courses are really hard :-/
But I already found some friends there...that's good.
My best friend there is bavarian and he is really funny...and he also speaks with a funny dialect hahahaha
For how long will you work there?
It's indeed not profitable at all...a book is not that expensive and you'll get a second hand book.
The job sounds nice but the salary couldn't be worse xD
Can you read during the working times?

You should go there. It's really close to Berlin so it's really worth it to go for one day by train from Berlin to Potsdam. The park is sooo big and full of castles, fountains, gardens, etc.
But you have to walk a lot since the park is really really big
