Hi Jean,

I'm sorry I waited so long to respond to your message at Inter Pals. I worked until mid April.
I have always worked as a secretary or administrative assistant. Until April this year I worked 20 hours a week at the personnel department of a major energy supplier.
In recent months I have taken care of my sick little dog. He was almost 14 years old and had Cushing's disease. In consultation with the vet did (one week ago) I let him sleep. I miss him a lot, it was a special dog, small to see, but with the character of a large dog. Now I have more time to do other things.
My husband deceased 8 years ago, I live alone. I have two sons and two grandsons. The grandsons are 17 and 15 years oldl.
How old (young) are your children?

How goes everything .All well here and yes spring has found us. We have had some lovely days ....which has meant getting all outdoor jobs sorted. Also got garden planted with shallots and onions. Greenhouse full with bedding plants and vegetables. Cross-stitch and knitting still in progress .How is Will keeping .

Hows life for you all over there. All is well here. Got the cat's ashes today. He is now home again . Weather has finally got warm and today was hot !!!! ...unfortunately it is not going to last. Autumn will be upon before summer at this rate. How is the quilt coming along

Hello Jean ,

Hope all is going well with youand Will. Have you let your kitten out yet. We are still waiting for Spider's Ashes to come home. Yes it is nice having both Daughters near by .....they brighten up the dullest day. Have a wedding to attend in a few weeks ...my son is marrying for the second time ...fingers crossed it works. Also have two of his kids living with us now.

Things getting better here now , not quite so tearful. He will be cremated next week and then returned to us in a lovely wooden casket. I hated letting them out when they were small.
Yes it is nice having Annemarie close this is the first time in 20 years she has lived near us. Her sister is loving having her so close .Hope Will is keeping well.

Did you have a nice Easter ....we had family over it was nice. Weather was very cold and had snowshowers today. Have been helping my daughter to move into her new home here in the town. Yesterday was really busy ....youngest girl phoned to tell us our tom cat had been run over and killed ......feel a great sense of loss.

Hello Jean ...brilliant news about Will. Weather here been very cold with heavy snow in some parts. Luckily we have just had the occassional flurry. Have got two grandkids living with us now. Daughter moving into Holbeach which gives me both my girls in walking distance. Son has moved to Boston 16 miles away and is getting remarried in May His new bride is a lovely Polish girl, 4 years his senior with a son of 17 .....Have been doing some cross stitching ...finished one and have now started another .....
