Hi Leona, I was sure I saw a note from you but somehow lost it. I remember the part about Ky. as that got my interest because I was born in Russell Springs. I finally found you and I hope to be good friends. I'm 62, and married what seems to be all my life! I love sewing, crochet, quilts and flowers and my little small garden. I live in the city but love the country. Let's get acquainted! Chris

Hi Leona, we did not go to Cherokee. We had planned to, because there is a bike trail there, but then chose not to when we found out that people mostly go there to gamble lol. We stayed in Townsend in one of those cabins, really great deal! Then we went to the visitor center and rode our bikes on the Gatlinburg trail. Another day we rode our bikes around Cades Cove. Then on the last day we went up to the dome. It was the most perfect day! I took a bunch of pictures.

Hi Leona, thanks for your note! Last year was my first time to the Smokies, and I loved it!! The mountains are so magnificent, I could hardly believe they were real. May go again this year.

Hi Yes U receuved your email. Just haven't had a chance to reply yeet. It was good to hear from you.

I do hope this message find you well. It has been cold her efor several days.

How long have you been making quilts. I have always wanted to learn to quilt, but have accomplished it yet. Maybe soon. My daughter-in-law made a quilt for her bed and it is quite pretty. My problem is that I have no idea what colors go together. My Mom used to quilt using old jean and the clothes everyone grew out of. I still have one of her quilts. I will cherish it.

The author you mentioned I haven't read any of her books.

Do you do any other kinds of crafts? If so, what do you do?

Wher in the South do you live? Do you miss Chicago? I was born and raised here in New Mexico but we have moved several times. The east coast was too humid but I did like being able to go to the beach once in a while.

If you would like to email off the interpals site I will give you my email address. I don't like the idea of givnig too much information where others might be able to read it.

Have a Great day
MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS
Avie
