Dear Gamal,

I received your message and I have the same dilemma as you. But I think I will continue searching for a reliable person to teach me Arabic.

As far as your English, I can help you enhancing your accent by talking to each other or by sending you emails (pdf - mp3) - just tell me if you are an advanced or proficient learner. I can also send you Spanish lessons if you want (define level).

Mistakes while speaking is something natural - we are human beings and we make mistakes. Only God is perfect!!!

I wish God will give you the wisdom to choose the right path for what you are seaching for. IF you decide to deactivate this account - Good luck! If not, I will be glad to send you advanced lessons in English via email.

Hi Gamal,

My name is Eleni - it means 2 things in the greek language:
firstly, the light, somebody who lights something (usually metaphorically) and secondly, somebody who conquers and governs. It shows somebody with a strong character and personality.

What does BR mean? (at the end of your message). It seems to me that it is like : brother. Is it right?

I also speak French - which means that I can help you with it. What do you think?

Another question about arabic: MSA vs Egyptian dialect.

Hi Amenhotepp,

Thank you for your time to anwer my previous message! I have a lot of questions and I am eager to learn as I am trying to learn it since last June! I assure you I am a very good student!

First of all, I would like to know what is the difference in pronunciation/accent with the other dialects of Arabic. This means that if I learn the Egyptian dialect I would not communicate with the other ones? Am I going to learn the Egyptian dialect? I don't want to mix them up! (I already know some things!)

Your message was in a very organized way.. .are you a teacher? I really like the wide variety of topics you are going to teach me. It sounds ideal and it is what I was looking for!

I would also like to know about Isis and Ositis. Sorry for my ignorance...

I find it important to tell you a few things about my Arabic so far. I know: the Arabic Alphabet (pronunciation, how the letters are called, how they are written) - I know how to write some simple words like:mum, he, kitchen etc) and some simple sentences> from the Madinah site. So, I am interested in the Arabic script, too.

I am ready to know all about your language.

THANK YOU AGAIN!

i've heard of the answer : wa alaikum as-salam
is it something different? or there are various answers when somebody says salam alikum?

I am amazed at what you said about wish and request! It's my pleasure to help you in any way I can. Nowadays, it's really difficult to find people like you.
